Florida lawn care and turf maintenance
Lawn care here means a crew mows, edges, and looks after turf on a house, a rental, or an HOA lawn in Florida. You are deciding who will do that work, and the request goes to Florida Lawn Care Hub.
Mowing, edging, and turf care for a house, a rental, or an HOA lawn in Florida.
The Palm Beach presentation quoted below is the rule this page can actually show.
Send the request if that is the job. Florida Lawn Care Hub replies by email.
This page is not for commercial golf-course turf, a synthetic sports field, or land clearing. Those jobs are refused on the form.
It is for a homeowner, a landlord, or an HOA director who needs scheduled mowing, edging, and turf care on a Florida residential lawn.
What the quoted page says
Palm Beach County’s MS4 coordinator presentation states the fertilizer distance and the clipping rule in these words:
Florida statute (Section 403.9337) and the Palm Beach County Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Permit requires local governments within the watershed of a nutrient impaired water body to adopt, as a minimum, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Model Ordinance for Florida-friendly fertilizer use on urban landscape. Fertilizer shall not be applied within ten (10) feet, or three (3) feet if a deflector shield or drop spreader is used, of any pond, stream, water body, lake, canal, wetland, or from the top of a seawall or lake bulkhead. In no case shall grass clippings, vegetative material, and/or vegetative debris intentionally, be washed, swept, or blown off into stormwater drains, ditches, conveyances, water bodies, wetlands, sidewalks or roadways. No Applicator shall apply fertilizer containing nitrogen and/or phosphorus to turf and/or landscape plants during the prohibited application period (heavy rainfall forecasted by the National Weather Service) or to saturated soils.

| The same edge, if a deflector shield or drop spreader is used | three (3) feet |

What was not measured
No quoted page on this site states a monthly price. This page did not measure a lawn, a mowing interval for St. Augustine, or an HOA height.
Questions the quoted page can answer
How often should St. Augustine grass be mowed during Florida summer months?
The presentation quoted on this page does not state a summer mowing interval for St. Augustine. It does state when nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer must stop: during the prohibited application period, described as heavy rainfall forecasted by the National Weather Service, and on saturated soils.
What fertilizer rule can this page actually show?
The Palm Beach County presentation says fertilizer containing nitrogen or phosphorus is not applied during that prohibited period or to saturated soils, and it sets the ten-foot and three-foot distances in the table.
How much does monthly lawn maintenance cost for a suburban Florida home?
No page quoted here states a monthly price. This site did not price a lawn. Sending the request does not produce a company price on its own.
Can a lawn crew follow an HOA turf height on its own?
The quoted presentation does not state an HOA height. If your board has one, write it in the email thread after Florida Lawn Care Hub replies. This page did not measure a lawn.
